Noisy Attic Studio
Nearly five decades of songwriting and music production have taught me a few things about myself and the art of creating music. Early on I discovered creating was energizing, while performing had the opposite effect. My focus in the studio is getting the song idea from my head to a finished recording. I record each song first to get the different ideas worked out. My mastered demo is the reference for the final recording.
Studio equipment, software, and gear evolved along the way. The big leap for mixing was my sound reinforced 12x30 room. Because I am familiar with my Logic Pro DAW and Universal Audio interface/plugins, I would not trade them for anything else. Add a Townsend Microphone (which properly emulates every legendary microphone), add balanced Dynaudio 3 way monitors, plus other supporting gear, and my humble hideaway gets the job done.
